Unique locations including the dairy, the manor and the Wedding Cake
Waddesdon Estate, established in the 19th century for Baron Ferdinand de Rothschild, has served as the Rothschild family's country retreat for over a century. You and your guests can experience this privileged lifestyle, indulging in exceptional cuisine, fine wines, and friendly, professional service, all with guaranteed exclusivity.
The Waddesdon Estate offers two exclusive-use wedding venues: The Dairy, a tranquil waterside setting amidst glorious gardens, and The Manor, one of Europe’s last remaining Rothschild properties.
The Dairy offers a wealth of romantic and picturesque settings for your wedding. The Courtyard and Buttery feature manicured lawns set against charming terracotta and steepled roofs. A hidden garden boasts a rustic gazebo, while the Lakeside Pavilions offer a marquee for enjoying drinks outdoors. Throughout these areas, distinctive statues celebrate the estate's rich heritage.
For your wedding breakfast, you can choose from the West Hall, South Hall, and Wintergarden. The West Hall, with its two large open fireplaces, and the South Hall can host 110 seated guests or 160 standing. The Wintergarden, with its modern glass design, floods the space with natural light and can accommodate 70 guests for dinner and 130 for an evening reception. Stone floors in all three rooms make them perfect for dancing into the night.
